On Thursday, May 30, 2013, Farber Plastic Surgery officially opened its new office in Boca Raton, Florida with an intimate charity event and ribbon cutting in the state-of-the-art plastic surgery center.
Dozens of colleagues, friends and family gathered to tour the modern facility and celebrate with Dr. Scott Farber and staff in the new office, which combines technological innovation with South Beach-style luxury. Guests raised champagne glasses and participated in a raffle that raised $____ for the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Executive Director Elizabeth Linden attended the event and spoke briefly about the importance of the Institute’s Go Pink challenge, which the funds raised will go toward to help in the fight against breast cancer.
Dr. Farber chose to support the breast cancer programs at the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute because it is the premier center for breast cancer treatment in South Florida, and reconstructive surgery is an important part of Dr. Farber’s practice.
“As a plastic surgeon, I am fortunate to be able to provide a silver lining to an otherwise difficult time for women dealing with breast cancer,” says Dr. Farber. “My goal is to help women feel good about themselves after breast cancer surgery.”
In addition to participating in the raffle and viewing the contemporary exam and procedure rooms, attendees had a chance to learn about the new services being offered at Farber Plastic Surgery, including the cosmetic laser procedures to correct a variety of skin conditions related to aging and sun damage.
Special thanks go out to everyone who attended and contributed to the raffle, and especially to our sponsors including:
