Arm Lift in Boca Raton & Palm Beach County at Farber Plastic Surgery
You love the way people respond when you wave to them enthusiastically with a warm smile on your face and the way that you are able to change the energy of a room with excited applause. But these days you are feeling much more subdued and people have noticed. What they don’t know is that you are embarrassed by the flopping skin on your arms.
What Is an Arm Lift?
An arm lift by Dr. Farber restores the contours of your upper arms to give them a more toned appearance. You no longer need to keep your arms at your side or cover your arms with long sleeves, and you can once again show everyone just how delighted you are to see them.
Is an Arm Lift Right for Me?
An arm lift does require the use of general anesthesia, so you should be in good health to be considered for the procedure. The surgery is most beneficial for men and women between the ages of 35 and 65, but Dr. Farber uses several factors to decide if an arm lift is right for you. During your consultation appointment, he examines your upper arms and provides professional guidance on if and how an arm lift can help improve the contours and appearance of your upper arms.

How Is an Arm Lift Performed?
An arm lift improves your upper arms by removing loose skin so that the remaining skin nicely covers the contours of your arms. Dr. Farber may also remove fat to eliminate any bumpy or uneven appearances. The surgery typically takes two hours, and you will have a significant scar as a result, but Dr. Farber makes the incision on the inside of your arm where the scar is less noticeable.
How Much Does an Arm Lift Cost in Boca Raton, FL?
Your arm lift procedure is not covered by your medical insurance because it is not considered “medically necessary.” To help you manage the cost of your arm lift, Farber Plastic Surgery offers several financing options.
On the Road to Recovery
A compression garment is used to keep the skin and soft tissue in place while you heal, and you will notice a tightening sensation on your arms, indicating that your skin is re-shaping to fit the new contours of your arms. You may also have some discomfort, bruising, swelling, and redness. Rest is very important as you recover from your arm lift surgery, and you will need to take about one week off from work.
