What a wonderful year it has been at Farber Plastic Surgery!
2014 was highlighted by lots of exciting innovations in aesthetic medicine, focus and fundraising for our favorite charitable causes, and well-deserved accolades for Dr. Farber.
2014 marked the first full year at our new location in the Fountains Plaza off of Camino Real. Our new office space reflects Dr. Farber’s modern, elegant, and natural approach to medicine. If you have yet to visit in person, please take a virtual tour.
As a leader in aesthetic medicine in South Florida, Dr. Farber was honored at numerous events and led various local aesthetic seminars such as the 2014 211 Luncheon and the FPS Voluma Event. At these engagements, Dr. Farber spoke about the latest invasive and non-invasive techniques to maintain a youthful and natural appearance. Dr. Farber also became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). An honor bestowed upon a select group of board-certified surgeons that meet strict criteria of excellence in their respective fields.
At Farber Plastic Surgery, we also launched the ZO Skin Health Anti-Aging skin care system created by Dr. Zein Obagi. This incredible new skin health line combines the proven agents of Obagi Skincare with the latest advances such as growth factors and anti-oxidants for beautiful skin health.
Dr. Farber and our wonderful staff at Farber Plastic Surgery dedicated themselves to the fight to combat breast and skin cancer. As a sponsor of the Run from the Rays 5k, we helped raise over $40,000 for the treatment and prevention of skin cancer. In addition, the Farber Plastic Surgery Team participated in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer community walk where more than 20,000 South Palm Beach residents rallied together to raise over $500,000 for breast cancer research.
Lastly, Farber Plastic Surgery capped off the year with their annual FPS Party at the Boca Raton Museum of Art. At this beautiful event, Drs. Scott and Leslie Farber and Farber Plastic Surgery were joined by friends, patients, and colleagues. Special guests Brian and Claudia Fleury from Fleury Estate Winery in Napa, CA, in addition to many wonderful raffle donations from local businesses, helped to raise money for the Boca Raton Museum of Art’s Special Needs Arts Program.
